newsandinfo  “It’s Better in the Bahamas” was a very successful Bahamas tourism campaign during the 1970’s and 1980’s. Even though the slogan has been retired, the sentiment remains strong.

The Bahamas, an archipelago of over 700 islands located just a few miles off the Florida coast, offers beauty, variety and proximity to US travelers and this summer and fall the Bahamas is also offering a cash rebate of $200.

For any air-inclusive package of four or more nights on Grand Bahama Island – booked by June 30 for travel until Sept. 1 – you’ll receive the $200 rebate, plus in some cases kids stay and eat free.
