newsandinfo  This year’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Port Lucaya is set for Saturday, December 6th. in the Count Basie Square from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.
There will be Performances by; St. George’s High School Band, Grand Bahama Chorale, St. John’s Jubliee Cathedral Senior Shoir, Dance Selections by; Derek & the boys Grand Bahama Catholic High, Port Lucaya Dancers & Ultra Vibes Band, Bahamas Dance Theatre (artistic director- Julian Collie), Port Lucaya Dancers, Musical & Dance selections by St. George’s High School Choir & Dance,Troupe, DECISION Gospel Group and Church of God of Prophecy Youth Brass Band.

Remarks to be made by; Bishop Godfrey Williams of St. Johns Jubliee Cathedral, Mr. Edward P. St. George Co-chairman of the Grand Bahama Port Authority Group of Companies.

The tree will be lit by Lady Henrietta St. George, Master of Ceremonies. After which, the Ultra Vibes Band will take the stage until midnight.

Santa Clause will also be there!
