excursions ATLANTA, Aug. 6 — Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL – News) today introduced a wallet-friendly fare sale for travel to The Bahamas. The sale fares offer customers even greater savings than Delta’s already-low fares in the markets, and are available for travel on Delta and Delta Connection flights.
Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 15, 2003, and require a roundtrip 14-day advance purchase. Travel must be completed by Dec. 17, 2003. The lowest sale fares are valid for travel Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. Time of day restrictions apply; higher levels apply at other times. Some blackout dates apply. See below for details and other important restrictions.

A portion of travel for some itineraries may be on the Delta Connection carriers: Atlantic Coast Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Chautauqua, Comair, and SkyWest; codeshare partners American Eagle and Air Jamaica; or Song, Delta’s new low fare product.
Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets.
Tickets: Tickets must be purchased on a round-trip basis on or before Aug. 15, 2003. Except for tickets purchased on delta.com, ticketing must be completed by midnight 1 day after the reservations are confirmed or at least 14 days prior departure whichever occurs first, but no later than Aug. 15, 2003. See delta.com for online ticket purchase requirements and restrictions.
Travel Period: All travel must be completed by Dec. 17, 2003. Except Freeport, Bahamas, travel is applicable on/after Oct. 15, 2003 and all travel must be completed by Dec. 17, 2003.
Blackout Dates: Travel is not permitted to the Caribbean Nov. 21-26, 2003, or from the Caribbean Nov. 28-Dec. 1, 2003.
Fare Validity: Fares are valid in the Economy (Coach) cabin. For travel to the Caribbean fares shown are valid Monday through Thursday, while higher fares apply for travel Friday through Sunday.
Minimum Stay: A 3 night minimum stay is required.
Maximum Stay: 30 days.
Cancellations/Refunds: Fares are nonrefundable.
Changes/Standby: Certain changes are permitted on/before departure of the original ticketed flight date upon payment of a fee of $100 plus any applicable fare difference; otherwise the ticket will have no value.
Taxes/Fees: Fares do not include a $3.00 Federal Excise Tax, which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger’s ticketed itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charge(s) of up to $18.00, depending on itinerary. Fares do not include U.S. or International departure and arrival charges of USD26.80, U.S. and foreign user, inspection, security or other similarly based charges, fees or taxes of up to USD250, depending on itinerary. These fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is purchased.
Miscellaneous: Fares and rules are subject to change without notice. It is the responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of all necessary documentation (e.g. valid passport, visa where applicable) at the time of departure from origin. Delta reserves the right to deny boarding to passengers without the proper documentation. Other restrictions may apply.
