newsandinfo American Eagle Airlines today announced it would expand its popular weekend-only flights to Nassau from Raleigh/Durham International Airport.
Beginning Nov. 1, American Eagle will begin two round-trip flights each Saturday and Sunday between Raleigh/Durham International Airport and Orlando International Airport. In addition, American Eagle will, effective Jan. 31, begin weekend service between Raleigh/Durham and Nassau International Airport with two round-trip flights each Saturday and Sunday. All flights will be operated with a combination of the 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 and the 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 regional jets.
‘We’ve had great response from the community to our growing schedule at Raleigh/Durham,’said Peter Bowler, president – American Eagle. ‘Adding weekend service to leisure destinations like Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Nassau allows us to continue growing and expanding the range of destinations we are able to offer our customers.
