fishing  Just 50 miles from Miami, Bimini will be the site of the inaugural Bahamas Wahoo Challenge Nov. 2-5.

The entry fee is $1,800 per team, which includes six lines, four angler entries and other sponsor-provided promotional items. Each registered team and angler is eligible for team and individual tournament prizes. Additional anglers may be added to each team for $200 per extra angler.

As for where to stay, if you’re not fishing or sleeping aboard your own yacht, the official host of the event is the Bimini Bay Resort + Casino. Winter rates range from $250 per night for a studio to $950 per night for a four-bedroom oceanfront home.
But who knows? With more than $20,000 in cash and prizes, it could be a profitable weekend. Wahoo!
