newsandinfo  As the Jan. 23, 2007 deadline for obtaining a U.S. passport for all international air travel looms closer, the island pair of Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, and Paradise Island has unveiled a not-to-be-missed offer.

For a limited time, travelers in need of both a passport and a tropical vacation can acquire the newly required travel document for free by booking a getaway to Nassau/Paradise Island.

Vacationers who visit Nassau/Paradise Island between Jan. 17 – March 31, staying a minimum of two nights at a participating hotel, can get their passports for free thanks to a program that will reimburse travelers for the application and execution fees for their new U.S. passports (limit 4 rebates per room). Offer is valid for new US passports issued between Dec. 20, 2006 and March 24, 2007.

With passport costs of $97 for adults and $82 for children, the reimbursement program translates into a potential savings of $358 for a family of four. Travelers simply need to download a rebate form from www.NassauParadiseIsland.com, which they can then complete and submit with a copy of their paid hotel bill, an airline boarding pass for all travelers and a photocopy of each eligible traveler’s passport photo page. It’s that simple … no strings attached.

Participating hotels include:
