You will discover a Caribbean dockside of the period, explore below decks of a pirate ship, come face to face with the women pirates, Ann Bonny and Mary Read, and much more. Would you survive being boarded by Blackbeard? Experience what it was really like to be a pirate when you come face-to-face with Blackbeard in a world-class museum quality, interactive attraction.
Your adventure begins on a moonlit dock amidst the smells of sea salt and tar. The sounds of lapping water and pirates celebrating in a nearby tavern fill the night air. A lone women sweeping the dock sets the scene for your adventure as she talks about a captain with a collection of ears ‘as long as your arm’! You will board a replica of the pirate ship Revenge and enter the world of cutlass wielding, bloodthirsty pirates.
Prepare to be boarded by the terrifying Captain Teach and his fearsome crew as you find yourself on the deck of an embattled ship on the high seas among exploding cannon and torn sail. Stowaway aboard the pirate ship ‘Revenge’ and explore the lower decks. Discover what life was really like at sea in 1716 among swinging hammocks, stowed cannon, volatile gambling sessions and on-board surgery under the ship’s carpenter! You will tour the Slave Kitchen – approximately 200 years old, The Lofthouse- approximately 150 years old, and The Marlborough Arms- approximately 100 years old.
Pirates of Nassau is located in downtown Nassau on the corner of George and Marlborough Streets, a minute’s walk from Nassau’s famous Straw Market. A complete tour of the attraction will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Unique interactive displays, with audio and visual sets are provided.
